Jack is a dedicated agency support worker who helps young people build confidence, develop independence and become more involved in their communities.
Through his agency work, Jack provides flexible, person-centred support tailored to each young person’s circumstances. He takes time to understand their interests, strengths, goals and individual support needs, enabling him to offer consistent and meaningful support.
Jack builds positive, trusting relationships through shared activities such as going to the gym, playing football and enjoying games of pool. These activities create natural opportunities for young people to develop social confidence, practise everyday skills and spend time in the community.
Jack supports young people who may benefit from consistency, encouragement, clear planning and a gradual approach to new experiences. His work can include supporting positive routines, everyday choices, community engagement and transitions into education or other new environments.
As an agency worker, Jack can adapt his approach to different individuals, families and settings while remaining focused on the needs and wellbeing of each young person. He works at their pace, helping unfamiliar or challenging situations feel more manageable.
Jack also works collaboratively with families, professionals and wider support teams. His aim is to ensure that every young person feels heard, valued and empowered to take positive steps towards greater confidence and independence.
